As I've researched microtia, I found out that Paul Stanley (of the rock band KISS) was born with microtia. He's deaf in that ear and yet has had a prolific career in the music industry (almost 40 years!) I also think it's inspiring that Paul Stanley is an ambassador for AboutFace, which is an organization that assists people with facial differences. Just goes to show that my little girl can be anything she wants to be, even a famous rock star! She's already practicing her "stage makeup." :)
